Oswestry Community Action (QUBE) is a community focused charity that aims to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of people in Oswestry and north Shropshire. The ethos of Qube is access to services for all. Services have been developed over time in response to local need such as rural poverty and lack of opportunities, particularly in social isolation, education and poor public transport provision. The majority of the charity's services are aimed at those who are disadvantaged which includes disability, health, including mental health, unemployment and rural poverty and isolation. Qube's services keep people engaged in their community, help them to feel less isolated and to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
