St. Walburge's Shrine Church

St. Walburge's Shrine Church is a Roman Catholic church in Preston. The church, a Grade I listed building, was built in the mid-19th century and is famous for having the tallest spire of any parish church in England.

 

"The church's mission is to promote the glory of God and advance the Apostolate of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly through an attachment to the Extraordinary Form of the Liturgy of the Roman Church."
