Digital Heritage Hub launch webinar

Digital Heritage Hub launch webinar

The Digital Heritage Hub provides answers to the top 100 digital questions across four themes asked by heritage organisations and provides resources and tools to help you tackle these big issues.

Ensure your digital strategy doesn’t gather virtual dust was the title of the webinar to launch the Digital Leadership and Digital Planning themes at the end of June. Videos of both the presentation and panel discussion are now available to watch on the  Digital Heritage Hub.

The presentation considers why digital change can be a necessary disruption for your organisation, how your organisation can become more audience-led, and what leaders need to know about social media. It also gives an understanding of how to navigate resources within the Digital Leadership and Digital Planning themes. The panel discussion considers the key issues facing heritage organisations, approaches to partnerships, and the challenges of digital access when reaching audiences.

Aimed at leaders of small- and medium-sized heritage organisations, the Digital Leadership and Digital Planningthemes have been developed by a consortium led by University of Leeds with Cause4 and Museum Development Yorkshire. The Digital Heritage Hub has received DCMS and National Lottery funding, distributed by the Heritage Fund as part of their Digital Skills for Heritage initiative.
